About Dr. Nyjon Eccles
After spending time in research and practice of “chemical-based” medicine and not happy with the possibilities that could be achieved by single chemical pharmaceuticals in health restoration, Dr. Eccles decided to expand and develop his longstanding interest in Nutritional Medicine. This journey took him to the Czech Republic, Spain, India and the USA where he studied with pioneering doctors who’s broader approach, over and above relief of symptoms, was achieving dramatic restoration of health using nutrients, phytochemicals and electromagnetic medicine. His observation of cancer remissions led him to develop this area as a special interest. Over the years he has developed specific and powerful nutritional programs for restoration of cellular health. These therapies he offers at The Chiron Clinic, which he set up in 1998.
He is pioneering the introduction to the UK of Medical Infrared Thermal Imaging for very early non-invasive detection of breast cancer and screening of musculoskeletal disorders. He states, "Earlier detection in younger women by Thermography gives us an unprecedented opportunity to stem the tide of increasing breast cancer occurrence. Thermal abnormalities indicative of increased risk can then be reversed by the correct attention to lifestyle, nutrition and lymph detoxification".
He is one of the leading Integrated Medicine Physicians in the UK and has a reputation for his practice of evidence-based Complementary Medicine.
His research in Magnetic Medicine led to the first ever magnetic product being given Drug Tariff approval in March 2006. As well as the filing of 3 patents for the discovery of Novel mechanisms of action of magnetic fields on the human body.
In an attempt to help people to alter their disease risks, he lectures regularly on topics such as "Natural Cancer support", "Food as Medicine", "Breast Health and Nutrition", "Prostate Health and Nutrition”, "Clinical Thermography" and "Child Health and Nutrition".
He is acknowledged in “Who's Who” in the World, 2010 and 2011, and “Who's Who” in Medicine & Healthcare, 2011-2012 for outstanding contributions in the Medical field. He is also listed in Great Minds of the 21st Century, limited to 1,000 entries, 5th Edition and received a Medical Science Award of Excellence 2011 for Natural Medicine Research.
When asked about his involvement in CHART he states "The challenge of finding natural remedies for cancer has occupied my research and clinical endeavors for the last 12 years. It was my time in the Czech Republic back in 1998, studying with a well renowned Medical doctor and witnessing the amazing results that he was achieving against cancer with combinations of nutritional supplements that started me on this journey. What followed was my deeper exploration into the mechanisms of cancer and an understanding of how certain nutrients were able to suppress cancer whilst at the same time supporting normal cell function. One of my frustrations was that these remedies could only be purchased privately and that some of these combinations could prove costly to some. It has been a longstanding desire to help set up a charity that could help provide financial assistance to at least some of those who otherwise might not be able to access them due to financial constraint. CHART is a way I can channel all I've learned for the past 12 years into something bigger where more people can benefit from mine and other Doctors knowledge on this subject".
