It has been demonstrated scientifically and clinically that subtle electromagnetic fields can expedite pain relief and promote tissue healing. Please refer overleaf to the section on “Electromagnetic Field Technology of OAPD”
The treatment itself is painless, drug and contact free. During treatment the patient simply lies back in a comfortable chair for a couple of hours, reading or listening to music. The OAPD equipment is set up around the patient and switched on. It is rare for the patient to be aware of any sensation during treatment; a few report a very mild tingling and some feel a little tired afterwards.
