Our medical philosophy is based on a totally naturopathic and non-invasive approach to treating people. Even so, we believe in "Science at the Heart of Medicine" and so as a clinic we pursue the practice of evidence based treatments and therapies.

The Chiron Clinic is directed by fully qualified medical doctors, who combine orthodox training with clinical and scientific research into naturopathic medicine together with knowledge that has been accumulated over many years of clinical experience.

Fundamentally Chiron seeks to treat the whole patient. This involves in part helping the body to heal itself; in part it aims to regulate the immune system, in part to detoxify the body and to optimise the health and energy of the body's cells. It uses complementary nutritional supportive treatments that promote well-being and recovery along with novel bio-energetic and other techniques.

At the same time, in order to continue growing the knowledge base for proven and efficacious complementary and natural medicines, The Chiron Clinic maintains close links with Chiron Research Ltd, a separate company that specialises in scientifically testing, assessing and validating non orthodox products, treatments and therapies. Several of the projects at Chiron Research have been originated by the Clinic.

It is The Chiron Clinic's long term aim to keep an open mind to new medical approaches until they are subsequently validated by sound research and then gradually to promote some of these within orthodox practice and training to bring about a vigorous and compelling "integrated medicine".
